India trials 14-hour lockdown to tackle COVID-19

India, with its 1.3 billion population, is struggling to contain the spread of novel coronavirus infection or COVID-19. COVID-19 has been confirmed in 378,601 individuals worldwide, and there are now 16,505 deaths worldwide attributed to this pandemic that has been ravaging the planet since the start of January 2020.
